GENERAL INFO:
- The program is offered twice a year; Fall (mid-September through November), Spring (mid-March to June).
- Our programs meet twice a week after school for 1-hour. Coaches are expected to attend every session.
- Our goal is for each site to have a head coach and one to two assistant coaches.
- Volunteer opportunities include: head coach, assistant coach, 5K race committee, 5K race day volunteer, general Girls on the Run volunteer.
- If you are interested in volunteering, ( for the 5k use a separate form on the 5k volunteer section!!) please complete the following volunteer application or contact Melissa Rice, Program Director at Melissa@girlsontherunde.org or at 302-893-2222.
To get involved with Girls on the Run we hope you have a:
- Genuine interest in leading a healthy life;
- Interest in physical fitness or running;
- Commitment to the mission of GOTR;
- Reliable, honest and positive outlook on life;
- Interest in the issues facing young women today;
- And a desire to get involved in a nonprofit organization and help create public awareness.
